The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 18th and runs through Sunday, August 24th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. The Bout of Books 11 is finally almost upon us! I did not get to participate in the Bout of Books 10, but I am pumped up for the one that is coming up. Some of you might know that I participated in the Booktube-A-Thon last month and I honestly did the best I have ever done in any read-a-thon. Now I plan to try and top that and read even more before school starts. I should be posting my official TBR list some time this week. If you are not already participating I suggest you come join the fun because read-a-thons are a great way to catch up on your goodreads challenge and read some extra books before the summer is over.
